Life is hard. Life sucks. What’s the point of it all? Does God even care? Many of our youth are wrestling with these thoughts. They are feeling crushed under the weight of difficulty - struggles with mental health, struggles with friends, struggles with family, and struggles at school. How can we as pastors, leaders, friends, parents, brothers, and sisters bring hope and encouragement to heavy hearts? Join us as we explore how God’s Word speaks hope to us during life’s deepest struggles.

In youth ministry, we encounter numerous operational and logistical challenges, from lesson planning to figuring out how much pizza to order. We manage relationships with volunteers, students, parents, and other ministry leaders. The question is: how can we effectively steward our time, resources, and human capital to benefit our youth ministry? This breakout will aim to look at biblical principles and practical tools to help build solid structures for youth ministry.

In youth ministry, one of our greatest callings is to share the message of Jesus with the next generation. As volunteer leaders, we have a unique role in modeling and leading the way in evangelism. But how can we, as leaders, effectively engage with students and introduce them to the gospel in a meaningful way? This breakout session will explore the biblical foundation for evangelism and offer practical strategies for leaders to intentionally share their faith with students. Together, we'll discuss how to cultivate an environment where evangelism is at the heart of everything we do, impacting the next generation for Christ.

With about 27% of High School students receiving special education support in schools, it’s safe to say that there will be teens in youth programs with a disability. Even if there isn’t already, they’re here. And making your ministry accessible is important. “Where do I start? Can youth ministry be accessible? What is a disability? Am I even qualified to do this?” Are all questions and hurdles many face when trying to include teens with disabilities into their youth programs. In this breakout, we will talk about what are disabilities and provide practical steps, information, and resources to help you make your youth ministry accessible for all kinds of learners and support needs. Disability inclusion doesn’t have to be daunting!

We don’t want to just view youth worship as a checklist item - as long as we have it, we’re good. But rather, as a perfect (the best) opportunity to develop the future worship pastors and leaders of our churches. In this breakout session, we’ll explore intentional strategies for developing a vibrant youth worship team that goes beyond just playing music at youth nights. We’ll discuss how to nurture and develop the gifts of young worship leaders, foster leadership skills, and create an environment where they can grow practically and spiritually. We’ll go through the practical steps for mentoring the next generation of worship leaders, what tools we should be teaching them, and how to equip them to lead with confidence and purpose in our churches.

Are you interested in learning about the youngest generation? In this breakout session we will ask questions such as: Who is Gen Alpha? What do they care about? And how can we effectively reach them with the Gospel? Come and learn about the next generation of youth ministry.

Navigating identity and belonging can be tricky for any of us. Third Culture Kids have the added difficulty of being caught between cultures. Let’s chat about how we can come along side 3rd culture youths and walk with them in the unique challenges they face.

This workshop focuses on the heart of Jesus' message to care for "the least of these" by creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for marginalized teens in youth ministry. Through practical strategies and biblical insights, participants will explore how to break down barriers, foster belonging, and empower marginalized youth to fully engage with their faith and community. Ideal for youth leaders seeking to build ministries that reflect Christ’s love and compassion for all.
