Mike’s a devoted husband to his wonderful wife, Sara, and the proud father of two amazing children, Hope (7), and Theo (5). For the past 13 years, Mike has been actively involved in youth ministry, starting as an intern at Forward Church Cambridge during his undergraduate studies at Heritage College. He later served as a Youth Pastor at Maple Avenue Baptist Church for two years before dedicating the last nine years to discipling the youth at Willow Creek Baptist Church. Mike has also been a core team member of FEB Youth for the past nine years and currently serves as the Next Gen Catalyst for FEB Central.

Greg brings over 8 years of experience in Youth Ministry to his role as Youth Pastor at Faith Church in St. Thomas. Previously, he dedicated 7 years of his ministry journey to Springvale Church in Stouffville. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Religion from Liberty University and is deeply enthusiastic about fostering discipleship. Beyond his ministry work, he enjoys fishing, playing pick-up hockey, and cherishing moments with his wife, Amy.

Kyle Rolph has over 30 years of experience working with children and youth in a variety of venues. Over 20 of those years in St. Thomas and Elgin County.

Kyle joined the Elgin County YFC/Youth Unlimited team in May of 2012.

Kyle oversees the weekly youth group, is involved with several students in St. Thomas schools as a mentor and coach, and runs The Upper Room. The Upper Room is an emergency youth shelter open on an on-call, emergency basis to give young people in need of a safe, warm place to crash, somewhere to go for the night. Kyle also provides trusteeship support to several local youth at any given time.

Kyle is trained in ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training), safeTALK, ASK (Assessing for Suicide in Kids),  Mental Health First Aid, and Crisis Prevention and Intervention. He also holds a Certificate in Leadership Training from the University of Waterloo, a Bachelor’s Degree from, what is now, Heritage College in Cambridge ON, and a Master’s Degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana.

Kyle is a certified ASIST, safeTALK, and ASK Workshop trainer and is excited to see the impact that both of these workshops are having in the community.

Kyle and his wife Becky celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary earlier this summer and have  3 grown children, a son in law, a daughter in law, and became first time grandparents just before Christmas.

Kyle received a life-saving liver transplant 26 years ago and enjoys fishing, playing drums, and tinkering around in his home Lego workshop creating and displaying a massive Lego Christmas village each year for the local railway museum.

Aaron served as Youth Pastor for the past 15 years in two different Fellowship Churches, one urban, one rural, before being called to church planting in 2022. He currently leads Cornerstone Church in Hensall, ON which has a very hands-on, incarnational approach to reaching the unreached of their community with the good news of Jesus.

Curtis Heaton is the Executive Director of the Canadian Biblical Counseling Coalition. He also serves as the Student Care & Counselling Coordinator at Heritage College & Seminary. He has a master’s Degree in Theology and is a certified biblical counsellor through the Association of Biblical Counselors. Curtis is married to Valerie and together they have three wonderfully energetic children.

When in Canada, Abigail serves at West Highland Church as a 1-on-1 youth leader. Combining her passions for disability support and discipling teens, Abigail loves to integrate people with disabilities into church life.
She works as a missionary in Europe in youth discipleship and disability outreach. And when she is not working, she enjoys going to coffee shops, reading, and exploring new cities.

Tim married Ariel in 2018 and is the proud father of two gorgeous daughters, Melody and Madelyn. Tim is on staff at Grandview Church as the Associate Pastor of Youth & Discipleship. Tim finds so much joy in witnessing the transformative power of faith in the lives of students. He has a desire to see resilient families who demonstrate the grace of God in their everyday lives. Beyond his pastoral duties Tim loves spending time with family, DIY projects (with mixed results, but hey, it’s the journey that counts!), and cheering (with even worse results) for the Leafs and Jays. You will often find Tim biking, at the park with his family or relaxing in the backyard because life’s too short to stay indoors!

Ashley was born in South Africa, and currently lives in Canada. Ashley is a husband to his wife Eugenie, and they have two wonderful kids. Ashley is a music & arts director at Springvale Church, and an Apologist at The Social Apologist. Ashley is currently doing his Masters of Theology from the South African Theological Seminary, and has also obtained his diploma in Audio Post Production from the Academy of Sound Engineering in South Africa.

Andrew came to know Jesus through being loved and welcomed really well by a youth group and youth pastor. Since then, God sparked a passion in his heart for ministry and the local church. He spent about 17 years in student ministry and since then has been trying figure out what being an actual adult looks like. He has been married to Laura for over 18 years and they have 4 kids together. Now, Andrew has to repent of all of the advice he gave to parents of teenagers.

Shannon has been serving youth ministry for over a decade, currently adventuring with high schoolers at her local church in St. Thomas. She’s all about spreading Christ’s love through hands-on service, leading spirited student teams on epic missions to Guatemala. At summer camp, Shannon runs a leaders-in-training program that’s as fun as it is formative. When she’s not inspiring teens or on mission, you can find Shannon whipping something up in the kitchen or getting crafty in front of the TV—her latest obsession? Crafting bead purses like a boss!

Sergei was born in Kazakhstan and grew up in Belgium and Quebec. He accepted Christ as his Saviour and repented of his sins at the age of 10. Sergei attended the Word of Life Bible Institute in South Korea . After returning to Quebec, Sergei started to work for his church as an intern and was in charge of youth and communications. He later worked for Église Le Sentier and the National Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches as the coordinator for Francophone Ministries. Sergei is finishing his M.A in Christian Leadership with Northwest Baptist Seminary. Sergei joined Hespeler Baptist Church in September 2023 as the Associate Pastor of Administration.  Sergei is married to Kelci and they have four children – James, Olivia, Sophia and Luke. Sergei loves to see how structures and organization can help churches and ministries thrive and achieve their mission.

For eight years, Bob has been serving in worship ministry within the Church, and currently serves at Bluewater Church in Sarnia, where he has served for almost three years, two as the Creative Arts Director, and one as a Worship Pastor. In addition to this, Bob leads a worship band called Backyard Worship, which was born back in 2018 out of the desire to see his city unified and revived. Since then, this ministry has developed into a worship collective of writers, producers, and leaders, who are passionate to not just see revival in their hometown, but desire to see it spread across Ontario through worship and through writing. He has a deep heart to specifically see revival sparked in that of the younger generation and is continually inspired by their heart for Jesus. Bob’s two greatest passions in ministry are leading worship grounded in Truth, and writing worship songs for the local Church, led by the Spirit, wrapped in Truth. Above all, Bob’s greatest ministry is to his loving wife, Shae. His primary mission is to be a faithful husband, and one day, a faithful father to his children.

Hi, I’m Grace Persaud 🙂 I’m the Children and Junior High Director at Bramalea Baptist Church. I’ve grown up in Brampton and currently live there with my amazing husband, Calvin. I graduated from Tyndale University with a BA in Biblical Studies and Theology and a minor in Youth Ministry. I’ve had the privilege of serving kids and youth for over 10 years. I love trying new food, exploring new places, and spending time with family and friends.
